What We Run

Our site's own source contains no advertising, marketing, or analytics scripts. It sets exactly one cookie, in one place: a strictly necessary login cookie for the Walkthrough, the private section described below. On the public pages of this site our source sets no cookies at all.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting tags, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, session recording, or data-broker integrations.

Scripts Cloudflare Adds

meetjensen.com is served through Cloudflare, which adds two pieces of JavaScript to the pages you receive. They are injected at Cloudflare's edge rather than written into our source, but they run in your browser, so they belong here.

Cloudflare Web Analytics (the RUM beacon). This measures how the site performs and how much traffic it gets. Cloudflare's documentation states that the beacon does not access cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB; that it uses performance metrics; and that the source IP address is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data center. Cloudflare's description is here: RUM beacon documentation.

We use it to understand whether the site is reachable and working. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or identifying you.

Email address obfuscation. Cloudflare encodes email addresses in the page and adds a small script that decodes them in your browser, so that automated scrapers have a harder time harvesting them. Cloudflare's description is here: email address obfuscation.

Cookies Cloudflare May Set

Separately from those two scripts, Cloudflare's security and performance features can set their own cookies — for example to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. Which of them apply depends on which Cloudflare features are enabled. Cloudflare publishes the list, the purpose of each cookie, and its duration at Cloudflare cookies.

The Signup Form

Submitting the email signup form stores the information described in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy. The form itself does not set a cookie.

The Walkthrough

meetjensen.com/walkthrough is a private section of this site, available to people who receive its link and password. It is the only part of meetjensen.com where our own source sets a cookie.

The cookie we set.

NamePurposeSet byTypeDuration
__Secure-jensen_walkthroughKeeps you logged in to the Walkthrough. Holds a session identifier and nothing else.laHva (this site's own server)Strictly necessary12 hours, or until you press Log out

The cookie is marked HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it, and Secure, so it is only ever sent over an encrypted connection. It carries no advertising, analytics, profiling or cross-site function, and it is not shared with anyone.

Why we do not ask for your consent to it. A strictly necessary cookie is one the service cannot work without. Without this cookie, logging in to the Walkthrough is not possible. We set no other cookies of our own anywhere on this site, and no non-essential cookie is set by our source at any point.

What else is recorded. Entering the Walkthrough records your agreement to its confidentiality terms, and your visits inside it are logged. That is described in Section 3A of our Privacy Policy, which also gives the retention periods.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is not served on these pages.

Payments

We are not collecting payments on this site, and there is no checkout. If that changes, this notice will be updated before any payment page goes live, to name the processor and describe what runs on the page at that point.

Server Logs

Cloudflare generates its own infrastructure and security logs when it serves the site — the technical request records any host produces. Those are Cloudflare's records, kept according to Cloudflare's practices.

Changes

If any of this changes, this notice changes with it, and it will say what changed.
