A JENSEn OS licence covers the software running on your machine. It is not a metered bill for how much thinking your agents did — we are not reselling you model capacity with a margin on top.
That distinction has a consequence worth understanding before you compare us to anything else. If you point JENSEn OS at hosted frontier models through your own API keys, you pay those providers directly, at their prices, with no intermediary. If you run fully local — your models, on your hardware — that cost goes to zero and does not come back. The same work, done twice, can have very different marginal costs depending only on where you chose to run it. That choice stays yours for the life of the licence, and you can change your mind at any point without reinstalling anything.
It also means the expensive configuration is the one you opt into, not the default you get stuck with. A system that only works by calling somebody else’s servers has a floor under its running cost that you cannot lower. This one does not.
Both plans can be run in the Full Control configuration, where JENSEn OS arrives on a USB drive with its models and never needs to reach the internet — not to work, and not to prove it is licensed. For regulated and air-gapped environments that is usually the only arrangement that clears review, so it is a first-class option rather than a special case.
